Graduated from the Visual Arts BA Hons Programme, Salford School of Art, 2008 Studied History of Art at Manchester University 1986 -1989 Working since 2008 in following areas:-

  • site- responsive installation using uncanny puppet sculpture,
  • artist led workshops for vulnerable adults and high school students,
  • textile sculpture
  • drawing
Selected Projects: 2012. 'The Ecchoing Green' . Arts Council funded commission for Barnaby Festival, Macclesfied. A site - responsive puppet sculpture installation at the King Edward Street Chapel. 2011. Asia Triennial Manchester, NEESA Trail Programme with Chinese Art Centre and Manchester Art Gallery. Artist leader for puppet making workshop series with a support group for vulnerable women in Cheeetham Hill. 2010 . 'Tales from the Woods' solo exhibition, for Liverpool Biennial Programme, Arena Gallery. Received 'Artwork of the Week' by Artinliverpool blog. 2009. Selected for Artists Access to Art Colleges Scheme hosted by Salford University. Work has recently been shown at solo and group exhibitions in London, Manchester, Salford, Liverpool, Macclesfield, Sheffield, Leeds and Ormskirk.
